China's Belt and Road Initiative
China's Belt and Road Initiative is a colossal undertaking that has the potential to reshape the global economic landscape. Envisioned as a modern-day revival of the ancient Silk Road, this ambitious infrastructure project aims to connect China with the rest of the world through a vast network of railways, highways, and maritime routes. At its core, the initiative is driven by a combination of strategic and economic factors. China seeks to expand its influence, secure its trade routes, and address its domestic economic challenges, such as regional disparities and excess industrial capacity. However, the initiative has raised concerns among some nations, who view it as a disturbing expansion of Chinese power. As the project continues to unfold, the world watches with a mix of anticipation and trepidation, wondering how this grand vision will ultimately reshape the geopolitical and economic dynamics of the 21st century.

A year into MUNing, Allen has made quite a stride for himself. Having an almost perfect placement record and having placed in prestigious MUN's both in the High School and University level in Bangalore and Maharashtra such as the ones hosted by Future MUN, NMIMS, NCFE, Bethany, Jindal Global University, Government Law College Mumbai, Nashik MUN and many more. Having been part of the Executive Board of Prestigious MUNs such as CIS X MUN, TISB MUN, MCPUC MUN and CJC MUN, NWMUN and more.
SIDHANTH KASHYAP : Vice-Chairperson
Sidhanth Kashyap is a decent MUNner at best, whose interest in MUN is paralleled only by his lack of charisma. Jokes aside, he's had a 100% perfect placement record, winning Best Delegate at various conferences in and out of Bangalore. He's won awards at INMUN, NEEVMUN, GIISMUN, GEARMUN, JMUN, VSMUN, CANMUN, and more. Moreover, he's had experience chairing YaleMUN as well as being an OC of the very first rendition of OWISMUN. Feel free to approach him anytime, and excuse his need for perfect grammatical syntax in any given situation.

KAVYA ARJUN : Moderator
Kavya Arjun is a 12th grade student currently pursuing her IB diploma. She has a passion for photography and writing as well as for learning about current affairs and global issues. If she’s not immersed in a book, you can often find her enthusiastically arguing with anyone over politics or current affairs. After becoming an active member of the MUN club in her school, she’s attended conferences around Bangalore, learning and sharpening her skills. Having participated in MUN for a few years now, she’s even won at conferences such as CANMUN. She’s constantly looking for ways to improve and discover new ideas and meet new people. She has a keen interest in Biochemistry and Literature and hopes to pursue it.
