LETTER FROM THE SECRETARY AND DIRECTOR GENERAL
Dear Delegates,
It is our utmost honor and privilege to welcome you to NeevMUN 2024. As members of the Secretariat, we are thrilled to contribute to this conference. Building on our success from last year, where we hosted some of the best delegates from around the country, we are confident that this edition of NeevMUN will be bigger and better than ever before.
"Neev" is a Hindi word meaning "foundation." At NeevMUN, our goal is to lay the foundation for debate, diplomacy, research, and current affairs. These foundations will support the young changemakers of tomorrow's society, who strive for excellence in everything they do. Having witnessed NeevMUN from its inception, we understand the importance of not only fostering advanced debate and research but also providing a gateway for newcomers to the vast world of MUN.
NeevMUN welcomes everyone, from experienced delegates with numerous conferences under their belt to those trying Model UN for the first time. From our crisis committees that keep delegates on their toes with real-time decisions, to our Indian-inspired committees simulating political discussions about our own country, there is something for everyone at NeevMUN.
At NeevMUN, we aim to distinguish ourselves by tackling issues that matter to us—sustainability, peace, equity, and more—across all areas of the world, not just the ones heavily reported in the media. This platform allows us to highlight concerns from every corner of the globe.

Daksh Sarawgi is a 12th-grade student who is no stranger to MUNs. Despite having started MUNning less than two years ago, he has attended 20 MUNs with a 100% placement rate and secured 10 Best Delegate awards. His accolades include placements at prestigious conferences such as TISBMUN, CISMUN, MAISMUN, INMUN, and many more. Outside of MUN, he enjoys reading about socioeconomic policies and international politics, training for triathlons, and watching Formula One. Daksh is thrilled to join the team for the second edition of the conference and looks forward to the event.
Meher is a 12th-grade student at Neev Academy with a keen interest in Mathematics and Economics. When not immersed in her studies, Meher can be found on the athletics track or in the library. In addition to her academic and athletic pursuits, Meher enjoys English literature and baking. Her experience extends to both MUN and debate, providing her with a unique perspective on problem-solving. She is extremely excited to join the NeevMUN team for the second time, confident in its potential for success and eager to contribute her expertise and passion to the conference.
